This review applies to version 5.8 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

RM to AVI MPEG WMV VCD SVCD DVD Converter is a conversion tool that enables you to convert Real Media files into AVI, WMV, VCD, MPEG, SVCD and DVD files. This program provides you with the function of converting multiple files into a specific format all at once without losing any quality at all during the process. The application lets you adjust NTSL/PAL.

If you are an expert user or you want to modify output parameters before converting your files, just click on the settings menu and choose which format you want to set. If you click on the AVI settings, you are going to be able to set the video and audio compressor, frame rate, width and height. For other formats you are going to be able to modify your files' bit rates, sample rates and more.

The program's interface is pretty good. There is a media player which allows users to watch video files or to preview their conversions.

To convert your files, you just have to add them into the program's main window, set an output directory, an output format and then click on the convert button.

The program doesn't require many system requirements to be installed.
Advantages
  • It supports many output formats.
  • It works with a fast conversion speed.
  • It is easy to use.
  • It comes with a media player.
Disadvantages
  • None.
